Summer positions with Strong Wings provide countless opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our staff receives comprehensive training and experience in the areas of challenge courses and rock climbing facilitation, bike, and kayak excursions, team building, and group initiatives, group management, waterfront safety, and much more. Strong Wings is more than just a fun and rewarding summer job; it is an opportunity for significant professional development. Group leaders should be at least eighteen years of age, have current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (Waterfront Lifeguard certification is preferred), have prior experience working with children, be physically fit, energetic, positive, and have a passion for the outdoors.
Our 2025 camp season begins with a week of training and orientation starting on Monday, June 2nd and will end on Friday, June 6th. We require that our staff be able to commit to the full duration of the season: 6/2 through 8/15. Applicants must complete an application, submit a cover letter, resume, and three letters of recommendation, provide three references and pass CORI and SORI screenings.
